Porter, an former UFC heavyweight, recently secured an emphatic victory over Haze Wilson at BKFC Mohegan Sun on March 28th, rapidly ascending the ranks in bare-knuckle combat.

Porter was present at BKFC KnuckleMania VI when Arlovski unseated Ben Rothwell to claim the heavyweight crown, doing so in just his second fight. Porter expressed admiration for Arlovski's championship performance, stating:

"Absolutely. We almost fought once or twice when I was in the UFC, before he retired. The fact that he's now in BKFC, he's the champion, and I'm aiming for the belt, it almost feels predestined for us to finally meet. I can't wait for that to be a title fight."

Porter also shared his observations on the growth of the BKFC heavyweight division, which continues to attract surging talents and former champions. As a ranked contender, he believes the division is thriving:

"The league is attracting many super talented fighters and gaining significant momentum. I was asked if BKFC caters more to older fighters like myself versus young prospects. I think because of BKFC's rising popularity and frequent events, younger fighters are now seeing it as a viable career path. Previously, it was so new that primarily experienced veterans were willing to take the leap. With this shift, I anticipate an even greater influx of talented heavyweights entering the sport."
