Luke Riley Stays Undefeated with Dominant Win Over Michael Aswell Jr. – UFC London Highlights
Luke Riley secured another impressive victory inside the Octagon at UFC London, overcoming Michael Aswell Jr. in the evening's co-main event.
Although Aswell initiated the opening round with a strong showing, Riley’s boxing prowess gradually asserted control, ultimately granting the British fighter a 1-0 lead after the initial five minutes.
The second round saw a continuation of Riley's assertive performance as he consistently pressured Aswell, frequently targeting his chin. Riley also expertly managed the Octagon space, firmly establishing a 2-0 advantage going into the decisive third and final stanza.
Despite being in critical need of a finish, Aswell displayed minimal urgency in the third round. He primarily resorted to clinching against the fence, attempting to accumulate control time. However, this strategy proved insufficient to negate the substantial damage Riley had inflicted throughout the first two rounds of the contest.
Official Result: Luke Riley defeated Michael Aswell Jr. via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Following the bout, it was confirmed that Luke Riley's professional record remains unblemished at 13-0, marking yet another successful and dominant outing at UFC London.
