Podcast Reload: S17E25 – Pokémon Wind & Waves, PlayStation and PC, Marathon, Planet of Lana II
This week's gaming news is heavily focused on Pokémon, following a recent anniversary event for the long-running series. This event unveiled at least one new pair of main games: Pokémon Viento y Oleajes (Wind and Waves).
Beyond the Pokémon announcements, a significant topic is the increasingly apparent distancing between PlayStation and PC gaming. We explore the reasons behind this shift and its implications, attempting to make sense of this tricky situation.
On the gaming front, Marathon and its Server Slam are a major focus. It's not every day a new Bungie game emerges, and while these test periods raise many questions, they also provide valuable insights.
Additionally, Planet of Lana II is making waves, showcasing how developer Wishfully continues to refine its cinematic vision, smoothing out rough edges and expanding its captivating world.
