Ontos de Frictional Games se retrasa hasta 2027
Frictional Games, el estudio sueco conocido por títulos como SOMA y Amnesia: The Bunker, ha anunciado que su próximo juego, Ontos, se lanzará en 2027. Inicialmente planeado para 2026, el lanzamiento se ha pospuesto un año.
Ontos se presentó por primera vez con un tráiler durante The Game Awards 2025, mostrando una aventura en primera persona que evoca comparaciones con Bioshock en el espacio, pero con el característico tono oscuro y perturbador de Frictional Games, incluyendo experimentos inquietantes que recuerdan a sus trabajos anteriores. El juego es publicado por Kepler Interactive.
En Ontos, los jugadores controlarán a Aditi Amani, quien recibe una invitación para descubrir el "legado" de su padre en Samsara, un hotel lunar. Allí, se enfrentará a profundas cuestiones existenciales sobre el alma, el sufrimiento y la naturaleza de la realidad.
El estudio justifica el retraso como necesario debido a que Ontos es su proyecto "más ambicioso hasta la fecha", tanto en tamaño y escala como en la profundidad de su historia y jugabilidad.
